Happy Christmas from Open

Hello everyone,

a little festive blog for you all - a gift of sorts from me to you! It has been a busy last few months here at Open Gallery - we've been to 100% Design, the Affordable Art Fair, the Art Festival at Hay and also Pulse Miami. So as I'm sure you can imagine it has been all go! High time then for a nice little Christmas holiday.

The image above is taken from a collection by Isabelle Inghilleri - sets the tone rather nicely for the festive period I feel. Hopefully Father Christmas will bring you all video paintings for Christmas then you can have your very own version of something as beautiful as this in your very own house. (Or you can come on over to the London Art Fair from the 13th to the 17th of January and have a little look for yourselves if you don't trust the man in red to pick for you!)

Anyway, not much remains to be said other than have a very merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year! See you in 2010 x

A little more on Pulse

As I have now worked out just how to add pictures to our blog here is a lovely image of Gabrielle Le Bayon's work! We showed her collection ' Portraits from the back' at the Pulse art fair this year - if you fancy having a sneaky look at some of our other collections you can log on to our site and peak all you want! www.opengallery.co.uk x

Pulse is over

As the Pulse art fair draws to a close thoughts now turn to the London Art Fair in January. Time to pack up the suncream and get out the scarf and wellington boots if the past few days have been anything to go by. Saying that the London Art Fair will be anything but a damp squib if we have anything to do with it. Setting up in the project space we have an exciting exhibition up our sleeves - no mere stand for us this year. Anyway, hopefully that is enough to wet your appetites and I'll be back again with more info very very soon......x
